SKOR project

This environmental installation is located in a psychiatric hospital that is also a residential place. In the courtyard of the hospital the artists created a space that functions as a rite of passage, which refers to the process of transformation of the human condition from one state of being to another. A large table, shaped like a Rorschach stain functions as a meeting place. At the entrances, two colourful Swirl Vaandels (textile mills) start to spin when visitors pass. These swirls symbolise a gate, the beginning and end of a transition. For this installation Ohlsson and Tee made two porcelain lanterns in China.
